Professional Dog Groomer

Opening in January 2026, Ruff Draft is Woodinville’s newest dog-forward destination — an indoor dog park, taproom, daycare, and grooming salon all under one roof. Our grooming salon is designed for a calm, positive, and high-quality grooming experience, backed by a steady stream of dog-loving regulars from the rest of our business.

As our full-time groomer, you’ll join a friendly, collaborative team that cares deeply about safety, kindness, and and canine well-being.

Duties

  • Provide full-service grooming for dogs of all breeds and coat types

  • Perform high-quality baths, blow-drying, brushing, trimming, de-shedding, nail trims, ear cleaning, and breed or owner-requested cuts

  • Communicate clearly with pet parents about grooming preferences and aftercare

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and sanitized tools

  • Handle dogs of varying sizes and temperaments with patience and confidence

  • Note any health or behavior concerns and communicate appropriately

  • Help refine processes as we grow the grooming program

Experience

  • 3+ years of professional grooming experience (salon or mobile)

  • Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team

  • Strong technical skills across a range of breeds and styles

  • Excellent client communication and customer service

  • Ability to lift and safely handle medium and large dogs

  • Calm, positive, low-stress dog handling skills

  • A passion for dogs and an eye for detail

Your Schedule

  • Preferred schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 9am–6pm

  • Open to alternate schedules for the right candidate (e.g., four 10-hour days, or a weekend shift if desired)
